Tomorrow, Saturday, May 18, 2019, we have the incredible privilege to team up with a dear friend from our church, Ms. Judy, who has graciously allowed us to come to her house and help with landscaping and painting projects in an effort to raise needed funds to help bring home our little girl from India for a Both Hands project. Her heart is also for adoption as she’s adopted three of her children over the years!
Many letters have been sent out to family and friends by our wonderful team of volunteers asking for sponsors for our adoption as our team helps a widow around her home tomorrow, taking a literal approach to James 1:27…one hand to help the orphan and one hand to help the widow (“Both Hands”). Think of it this way…how many of you have sponsored a child’s charity fun run, 5K or golf tournament? This is the same concept, except we are helping another family as our “sponsored event.”
