Tears…Many Thankful Tears!

Our hearts are bursting to overflowing tonight! In the past month…in just 30 days…we have had an incredible outpouring of love from so many of you! You have encouraged us with your prayers, letters and donations! Tears of thankfulness to you and our great God are just flowing…

In these past four weeks, nearly $12,000 (yes, $12,000!) came in for our adoption (including a $3,000 matching grant from Gregory’s Gift/Lifesong for Orphans) bringing us to the point in this fundraising process where we can now say we have raised more than two thirds of our fundraising goal!! I don’t know if you realize how amazing that fact is! The $3,000 matching grant was a wonderful gift that we thought would take months and months to match, and in just a few weeks, we saw that amount quadrupled! I don’t know why the Lord’s blessings continually surprises and astounds us, but that is exactly how we are feeling tonight! Thank you to those who have given so sacrificially to us…to our daughter, whom we still have yet to meet! This process of us jumping into God’s plan of adoption for our family has caused us to depend less on ourselves and trust more in our awesome God.

“And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). What a sanctifying process this has been! Our God is so, so, SO good!
